Meet Our Team

Courtney Wyckoff, CPT, CES

Courtney Wyckoff is the founder of MommaStrong, MommaStrong FUEL, and PappaStrong. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, with 20 years experience in the field of biomechanics and injury prevention/treatment. She started on her path as a fitness expert after retiring from a career as a professional ballet dancer, driven by a love for human movement and a curiosity about the engineering of the human body. Soon after the birth of her second child, she began suffering from chronic pain due a severe back injury, autoimmune disease, and postpartum depression. These experiences prompted Courtney to develop her own method of physical rehabilitation, one that focused on nurturing agility throughout the lifespan through consistent extension-based exercise. She founded MommaStrong and PappaStrong as ways to share this method in the most accessible way. Her work has been featured in Shape magazine, NPR, Parents magazine, and are vetted by leading physical therapists in this field.

Sicily Dickenson

Sicily Dickenson joined MommaStrong as CEO in April 2018. As a former CMO of Mattress Firm and NRG Energy, Sicily brings more than 13 years experience as a senior marketing and business executive. Sicily is herself the mother of two girls, who brings herself to the mat for MommaStrong every day (well almost every day). She met Courtney as her post-partum physical issues forced her to have two hip replacements. MommaStrong is a program that I can integrate into my daily life. It makes me feel stronger (both physically and mentally) and allows me to take care of myself so I can be a stronger person for the people I love. —Sicily Dickenson

"In the year that I've been a member, the stellar women of FUEL have guided me through a hyperemetic pregnancy, the emotion-swamp of postpartum healing, and the long slog of feeding myself and my family during the pandemic. The research-based info I've gotten in the videos and the empathetic support I've found in the community have made me infinitely more understanding - and forgiving - of my weight, my body's needs, and even my kids' picky eating. I'm so glad to have found FUEL."

Kate R.

"I definitely have a tendency towards disordered eating and I find myself wanting to lose 5-10lbs. I've recently tried calorie counting and IF with very little movement on the scale. Then there's the Fuel angel on my shoulder telling me that my body deserves to be nourished. That my body might just want to be at this weight and why am I obsessing over 5-10lbs. Why not obsess over giving my body the fuel and food it needs and wants. I have a long way to go before I'm at peace with my body and ditch diet culture forever, but I am SO grateful to have another voice in my ear telling me that I don't have to live like that. Fuel is slowly making positive changes in my life and I hope you know that your work matters. "

Shannon M

"I have been loving MommaStrong Fuel and Intuitive Eating. I just went through our super stressful, busy season at work. Fueling my body well with my balanced plate kept my energy up and anxiety down. In the past I would have grabbed sugar and caffeine as a quick energy fix. I am finding I have better energy and am not getting all those crazy highs and lows that went with my old choices."

Heather C

"MommaStrong fuel has helped me to understand the best ways to fuel my body. The balanced plate concept has changed the way indeed my family. I've noticed that collectively we are more emotionally regulated and have more energy, and I contribute that directly to the Fuel program!"
